so nick and i went to my parents house this weekend. nick slept in my old room and i was going to sleep in my sister’s old room. well of course i had to snoop. i found a bag of her letters and a journal from her last stint in jail (around this time last year til about February of this year).

happy early birthday to me!
mom and dad got me one of the heated steam, whatever vacuums. so i got that today. did half the apartment. i’m ashamed to admit that i’m disgusted with how dirty the carpet was. it wasn’t visible, really, but there was a LOT of fur deep into the carpet.
i guess i need a new regular vacuum now because that damn thing isn’t getting up ANY of the hair.

i’m wide awake because i took a nap while my power was out earlier. i woke up to ALL of my lights on and the fan in the bathroom going. coooool.
toby seems to be at least slightly better. he’s sleeping now. his barium test came back negative today. so that’s good. kind of shitty that we don’t know what’s causing his nausea. but i’ve got anti nausea syrup to...

toby’s tests turned out fine.
he got some fluids and pepto and was sent home. another test will be done tomorrow. i’ve got to drop him off before i leave for work. at least nick doesn’t work tomorrow.
so the other night i was feeling exceptionally warm and fuzzy. i decided to call my mom to ask what she and dad were doing for my sister this christmas. if you’re behind on the happenings, she’s in jail. it’s not a new thing. she likes to do this every year and is locked up from about dad’s birthday (june) to past the holidays.

i’m turning 26 (on the 6th) and i haven’t had a party since i was like…..14, probably.

yoga is awesome..you will fall and be sore…but it gets better
it was awesome! i didn’t fall, but i wobbled (i also just am taking five of the fundamentals classes — living social had a deal, only 5 classes).
i was super nervous going in to it, but the class was a great size (maybe seven people there)
can’t wait...

what are you making with it?
just cut it up in to cubes, put it in a huge pan with a bit of olive oil (of the extra virgin persuasion). salt, pepper, heat til it’s brown on at least one side and kind of mushy.

it’s my night to drink beer (i only have two bottles left), catch up on sunday night shows (dexter, homeland, the walking dead) and knit.
